Tips

When warming your honey, the optimum hive temperature is 35°C (95°F). Heating your honey up to 37°C (98.6 F) can result in the loss of beneficial components including some antibacterial aspects and nutritional value of raw honey. Important enzymes along with the honeys wonderful taste and color are destroyed when heating up to 40°C (104 F). For easy and safe beeswax melting just place the thermostat between 62 - 64°C (144 - 147 °F).
